Then he makes a relatively small mistake that is going to haunt him. I think that's what makes it ironic is that he's survived all the street tough dealers, was close to being killed by Gus, and has managed to do a ton of other illegal activities throughout the show (including murdering numerous people, planting a bomb to Hector and blowing up the room in the nursing home to take out Gus, the train heist, stealing the methlyamine from the chemical supply place, etc). Sure Walt is smart and all but he's still a human and is bound to make a mistake eventually that gets him caught. I get it he's arrogant, but he has a brother-in-law who works for the DEA who investigated this exact crime-I guess he just forgot it was in there, but knowing Hank comes over from time to time, it just seems a tad implausible he'd both keep the book AND keep it in a place Hank may be.īut then again, maybe it's often the stupid sloppy stuff (lipstick on the collar etc.) that gets people caught. Season 5.1’s finale, Gliding Over, scored a much smaller 2.78 million viewers, but consistently strong reviews and word of mouth persuaded enough people (myself included) to binge watch in. He would be a fucking idiot not to figure things out. I loved the look on Hank's face putting 2 and 2 together with the W.W.
They didn't need a crazy cliffhanger to go out on and I think this was the right way to do it. He has so much blood on his hands now, especially with the 9 murders and Mike's murder.Īt the last scene with Hank.
Of course Walt is not going to fully be out. Is it really worth the risk of their safety just to bring in more money for the sake of doing so? I thought the attack on the lawyer was one of the more brutal and realistic scenes I've seen as far as Prison shankings goes.Īlso, that was a great scene where Skylar showed Walt all the cash he had and asked him how much is enough? Walt is a fucking multi-multi-millionaire right now and has enough money for him, his kids, grandkids and future generations of the White's. I loved the music they used for all those scenes.
At how Walt orchestrated all those coordinated attacks on Mike's men.
